Did y’all SAY, “Recipe?” how ’bout this one, JUNKBERRY PIE!


1 1/2 cups sugar

3/4 cup flour

2 granny smith apples, peeled, cored & sliced

2 cups frozen blueberries

1 cup frozen raspberries

2 cups frozen strawberries

3 cups frozen peaches

2 cups frozen blackberries

combine all the sugar, flour and fruit in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.  pour into unbaked pie shell.


1 cup sour cream

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup flour

1 1/4 cup sugar

mix sour cream, salt, flour & sugar together & spread evenly over fruit filling.  sprinkle with sugar.

bake at 300 for 50 minutes or ’til topping is firm and edges are golden brown!  this recipe makes two fab pies!!

NOW, let it cool a tad top with your favorite ice cream and watch the JUNK GYPSIES Saturday, July 21st on HGTV !

    We visited last year and had a piece of junk berry pie, it was the best!!!! Tried finding a recipe with no success until today when I stumbled across this. Thank you thank you, will be making it soon. Looking forward to visiting again when I’m back in Texas this winter .

    I visited Royer’s for the first time this afternoon and had the Junkberry Pie for dessert! It absolutely blew my mind and I spent all day looking for a recipe close to it.
